wbinder@nc.rr.comI am a 29 year old techie geek. I graduated from WPI with a BS in ECE back in 1998. After graduating, I went to work for Raytheon for a couple of years before getting married and moving down south. I am happily married, and we now have a beautiful 2 year old little girl. I have been working for IBM for the past 5 years now, doing static timing analysis for high speed microprocessor designs for the past 3-4 years. I am one of the guys that makes sure that your CPU works at the speed it says it does. ;)
Since moving to the SouthEast, I have lost touch with a lot of old friends. I kept in touch with a few. But work and family life kept me busy, and addresses and other contact information changed. I've been feeling guilty lately and started trying to get back in touch with whoever I could find. Email doesn't work, since it is way too easy to forget to reply to a message for months on end. I inadvertently discovered a large group of friends here on LiveJournal, so I decided that I would give it a try for awhile and see what comes of it.
I plan on using this journal for a number of things. First and foremost, I will use it to find, get back in touch with, and stay in touch with my friends from far away. I will also use it to vent, when necessary. And I will use it to ramble about all of my various interests (tech/fantasy/gaming/etc).
